The Pioneer Mini Red Leather Crossbody Bag is hand crafted with uncompromising attention to detail. Made by an artisan on the Devon/Cornwall border in the South West of England, this bag is a testament traditional British craftsmanship, styled with a minimalist approach that showcases the beauty of vegetable-tanned leather.
Sized for the minimalist, the Pioneer Mini is designed to hold your essentials with the option to add an integrated card holder. The fully adjustable shoulder strap, secured by a solid brass buckle and press stud, ensures comfort and versatility when worn crossbody high or slung at the hip.
This compact crossbody comes in a rich wine red with a burgundy lining. It measures 6 inches height, 8 inches width (external), 7.5 inches width (internal), 2 inches depth. The strap length can be adjusted from 36 to 46 inches.

Our bags are crafted from fine full-grain Italian vegetable tanned leather of high provenance. This environmentally sustainable leather is produced by a traditional process of vegetable tanning, using all-natural products (derived from tree bark, berries and leaves) to transform the hide.
In line with our 'made to last' ethos, we only use the best quality fittings in our beautifully crafted bags:
- YKK zip for internal pocket.
- Polished gold magnetic clasps for flap closure.
- Solid brass buckle and Sam Browne press studs for strap.

I purchased this product about eight years ago at Broadway Market and have loved it ever since. I've been using it as both a cardholder and a wallet, and it's still in excellent condition. Therefore I purchased a couple more online this time!
Point for improvement: I noticed that the colour options online could be clearer. It would be helpful to have a colour map or images when selecting colours, as I found it difficult to distinguish between ‘burnt’ and ‘natural.’

Beautiful leather and beautifully made purse. I didnt give five stars as I find it a little to ‘deep’ for me to see the coins and pick them up, but I’m an ‘older’ person so this mightn’t be a problem for others.
