The Custom Service
CARV bags can be tailored to suit your personal style and practical needs. You can either customise an existing style, for example adjusting the size, shape, colour, strap length, closure, pockets, or adding personalised initials, or design a completely new piece.
The steps in the custom service process are set out below:

Becky will work up a proposal, including a sketch (if it's a new design), cost quote and indication of the production time. You review this and request any adjustments to make sure you're 100% happy before the commission starts.
Once you're happy with the design Becky will create a custom listing for the order to be placed online.
As soon as the order is placed production will begin. The current estimate for made to order items is 2 weeks.
You will receive regular progress updates as the bag is made.
Your order will be shipped as soon as possible and you'll receive notification and a tracking reference once it is dispatched.
The custom service is priced similarly to the main range, although new designs will take more time. For a rough cost guide refer to the prices for our main range with the following additional charges for customisation:
- Additional zip closure or pocket £25
- Add embossed initials £10
- Source new leather £40-100 (depending on actual cost)
- New bag design/pattern £50 (for new designs only)
All CARV bags are 100% refundable and this includes custom orders. The only exception to this is where initials have been added as these cannot be re-sold. Refer to our refund terms and conditions here for more information.
